Science Day

The Center organizes an Annual Science Day (in the form of a two-day workshop) discussing the progress of the scientific collaboration. Oral or poster presentations of the principal investigators, postdoctoral associates and graduate students on their ongoing research are an integral part of this event.

The first Science Day took place May 30 & 31, 2012 at Lausanne starting the collaboration between EPFL and MPS scientists.

The second Science Day took place November 7 & 8, 2013 at the EPF Lausanne.

The third Science Day took place October 9 & 10, 2014 at the Fritz-Haber Institute in Berlin.

The fourth Science Day took place October 8 & 9, 2015 at the EPF Lausanne.

The fifth Science Day took place on October 13 & 14, 2016 at the Max-Planck Institute in Stuttgart.

The sixth Science Day took place on October 5 & 6, 2017 at the EPF Lausanne.

The seventh Science Day took place on October 11 & 12, 2018 at the EPF Lausanne.

The eighth Science Day took place on October 10 & 11, 2019 at the EPF Lausanne.

The ninth Science Day took place online on October 8, 2020    

The tenth Science Day took place online on October 14, 2021.

The eleventh and last Science Day took place at the EPF Lausanne on September 28, 2022.
